One codebase, both stores

Mobile App Development

A mobile app is worth building when the work happens away from a desk. Field officers recording readings, drivers confirming deliveries, staff clocking in from a site. If the work happens at a computer, a web application is almost always cheaper and easier to maintain.

Interface from a mobile app development project

When an app is the right answer, we build it once and ship it to both platforms, and we handle the store submission process rather than handing you a file and wishing you luck.

What you receive

  • A single codebase serving Android and iOS
  • Store registration and submission handled end to end
  • Push notifications and an offline mode that syncs when the signal returns
  • Test builds for your team to review before anything goes public
  • Release documentation so future updates do not depend on us

What it changes

  • Work recorded where it happens instead of retyped later
  • One app to maintain rather than two diverging ones
  • A release process your team can run without external help

Questions that come up

If yours is not here, send it across directly. We reply within one working day.

Do you build separately for Android and iOS?

Rarely. For most business applications a single cross platform codebase does everything needed at roughly half the cost, because nothing gets built twice. Separate native builds only make sense when the app needs deep device capability such as advanced document scanning or live camera processing.

Do we need an app at all?

Often not, and we will say so. If your users are at a computer, a responsive web application does the same job with no install friction and no store review delays. We would rather tell you that early than build something that sits unused.

Who owns the store listings?

You do. The developer accounts are registered to your company and we join as a contributor. If we part ways, your listings, reviews and install base stay exactly where they are.
