Fabrication and general supplier
Answering a buyer technical questions before they have to ask them

The situation before
A fabrication business sells capability rather than a finished product you can simply photograph. Out of region buyers need to confirm the machinery, capacity and experience match their requirement before they will send a request for quotation.
Without an online profile that confirmation only happens through a site visit, and most buyers drop out well before that point.
What we built
We structured the site to answer the technical questions first: what kinds of work are handled, what the machine capacity is, and which industries have already been served.
The quotation request form was kept short and completable from a phone, because many enquiries come from people standing on a site rather than sitting at a desk.
What was handed over
- Capability and capacity stated before a buyer has to ask
- Quotation requests sendable from a phone in one sitting
- Industries already served presented as a credibility marker
